Ron Damper
A proud advocate for voting and civil rights, Ron Dampler, had the opportunity to march with Dr. King at the young age of 16. Inspired to continue pushing for the realization of his dream for the community, he went on to study at Knoxville College. After graduation, he leaped into the world of business to uplift members of his community by creating more opportunities for growth.
In 1984, those learnings were put into the creation of Damron Corporation, where he successfully partnered with McDonald’s as the first National Diversity Supplier of hot and ice tea blends throughout the Midwest and West Coast. Along his journey, Don has always put giving back at the forefront, from hiring within the community and prioritizing a fair living wage for all to providing essential household goods to thousands of families in need.
For Don, BOSA amplifies this prolific mission of togetherness, providing resources and connecting communities to reach new heights. It’s a chance to find excellent black and brown talent, serve them with fresh opportunities, and create a wonderfully diverse new standard for business.
