Trina Bediako

Trina Bediako is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the CEO of New Horizons Holdings, a food manufacturer producing hamburger buns and English muffins for several iconic brands. Founded by her father, Tim Brown, the family has owned the business for over 27 years. As a second-generation business owner, Trina has led the management team through record-breaking growth and earnings with McDonald's and other clients alike. 

Trina believes that BOSA provides a partnership with fellow African American owners and leaders and an environment that fosters learning, growth as well as the sharing of best practices. She recognizes that DEI is more critical than ever in today's world and wants to empower the black and brown community to use their voices to uplift one another in business and continue to be recognized by McDonald's as an integral community of leaders. 

She encourages the next generation to be willing to learn and grow from the experiences of others and wants them to understand the value they bring to the table not only as individuals but as a collective network.
