Wayne Beasley

WAY TO BE

From the young age of 15, Wayne Beasley knew he wanted to be an entrepreneur. He began his career in accounting, where he met his business partner, Alan McIntosh. Together they leaped into the world of entrepreneurship and co-founded WayToBe Designs, a promotional products and uniform company based in California.

The duo got their first big break in San Francisco when a local McDonald’s franchisee asked them to supply custom T-shirts. Through much consistency and dedication, word slowly got out to other restaurants and business owners, and they became the community’s trusted choice. In 1996, the pair earned their first license to provide uniforms to McDonald’s locally. Eventually, achieving the national license to serve the entire McDonald’s system.

Wayne understands that every decision they make affects the organization, peers, customers, and suppliers. And he has always felt the privilege and honor to not only uphold that trust but to share the opportunities for growth with other African American members. He believes that a rising tide lifts all ships. And through BOSA, he is committed to continuing the legacy of putting his community first by advocating for their advancement and mentorship.
